You can smell the smoke as soon as you step out of your car, enticing you into the restaurant for a dining experience like no other!

In 1993, owners Barbara & Tim Worthy, cranked up the pit, stirred up family recipes and threw open the doors to the Old Coupland Inn. Originally owned by a local family, the Suttons, you could only eat BBQ. Word got around fast, and before you know it, the Worthys were selling out of BBQ and decided to add steaks to the menu. All the steaks are fresh cut, basted with a secret marinate and grilled to perfection over mesquite wood, just like the BBQ. Well... as time passed, they added other items to the menu, like a hand cut Sirloin Steak that is tenderized, hand battered and chicken fried to a golden brown, that and catfish fillets lightly dredged in cornmeal and fried, served with homemade tarter sauce and red sauce. We have perfected the onion rings too!!! Everything is prepared from scratch with love and patience and served up like you’re family. With a warm smile and a friendly handshake (and sometimes a hug!!) each customer is welcomed into the family style atmosphere that made Coupland Inn & Dancehall famous.

No reservations, just come on, we'll get you a seat fast as we can.
